Change and Rename Labels In Blogger, How?

 
A responsive website/blog takes care of the every demands and needs of it's readers and visitors. Blogger helps you in it by providing a feature of Labels aka Categories. Labels is a categorizing tag. You can tag any post with particular tag.

With growth in your blog you need to merge some of the Labels or you need to change them. And suppose if you have written 300+ posts and going through each and every posts and changing the Labels will be painful and time consuming for you. 

To reduce the time consumption in this task let us see a small tutorial below.

Above is the view of our Blog. And we want to rename the Highlighted Label.

Step#1 

Tick the check box of the posts from which you want to remove the label of rename the label.

Step#2

Now we open labels list from the drop down menu shown in figure.

This is the most important step of tutorial.

• Click on the label you want to remove from particular post.
• Then Click on New Label Option given at the top of drop down list menu.
• When you click on it a dialog box will appear.

• Now enter the desired label name, as we have added Blogger Widgets and then hit Okafter you are done.

Congratulations

You have successfully removed the labels and renamed it.

Facts You Must Consider

• The posts you check in will turn into pale yellow color.

• You can rename labels upto 50 posts at one time. So remember while checking in the boxes you might also keep it in your mind that you must not exceed than 50 posts at one time while renaming and removing the labels.

• Be careful with your work. One silly mistake can mess up all the things in your blog. So keep your eyes wide open while removing and renaming the labels.
